Attendees were welcomed by inspiring remarks from Congresswoman Mary Gay, State Representative Gina Curry, and Lansdowne Mayor Magda Bryne, setting the tone for an event focused on empowerment and civic engagement.

The highlight of the day was a dynamic Bench Chat, expertly moderated by Yumeno Young, Assistant Campaign Manager for Kamara for Sheriff. The panel featured a distinguished lineup of speakers, including:

"We are thrilled to see so many young people engaged and excited about the political process," said Siddiq Kamara. "Events like these are crucial in shaping the future of our community and ensuring every voice is heard."

The event was made possible through the generous support of sponsors Dr. Monica Taylor, Friends of Paul Johnson, and Louis Rosenthal, whose commitment to community engagement underscores the importance of local activism.
