NEW HORIZONS FUNDRAISER BRINGS TOGETHER DELAWARE COUNTY LEADERS IN SUPPORT OF SIDDIQ KAMARA FOR SHERIFF

On Saturday, December 14th, Siddiq Kamara took a significant step forward during the highly successful New Horizons Fundraising Event for his campaign for Sheriff. With a packed room full of community leaders, elected officials, and dedicated supporters, the evening underscored the shared commitment to a safer, stronger Delaware County.

“I felt the unwavering belief from Delco, and together, we’re going to turn this vision into reality!” said Siddiq Kamara. “I’m eager to share my platform soon and work toward becoming Delaware County’s next sheriff.”

The event showcased the power of community, with passionate speeches and meaningful connections among attendees. Kamara extended special thanks to the event sponsors, Upper Darby Mayor Ed Brown and Delaware County Council Chair Dr. Monica Taylor, for their generous support and leadership.

The New Horizons Fundraiser was a resounding success, raising vital funds to support Kamara’s journey toward becoming Delaware County’s next sheriff.

During the event, Kamara shared his unique story, reflecting on his journey from arriving in America as a child with his family, who fled war-torn Liberia, to the tragic loss of his cousin, Fanta Bility. These personal experiences, coupled with his professional work in Army National Guard and the Pennsylvania Attorney General’s Office, have shaped his deep understanding of justice and strengthened his resolve to create safer communities. Kamara emphasized his commitment to bringing innovation, accountability, and fairness to the sheriff’s office to better serve all residents of Delaware County.

The event was held at Jammie’s Creative Food in Lansdowne, a family-owned restaurant that holds special meaning for Kamara. Known for its warm atmosphere and authentic cuisine, Jammie’s embodies the sense of home and community that fuels Kamara’s campaign.
